Southern and Gatwick Express join Great Northern and Thameslink

On 26 July Southern and Gatwick Express joined Great Northern and Thameslink to operate under one company, Govia Thameslink Railway.

The people and staff you deal with hasn't changed and the brands you're familiar with of Southern, Gatwick Express, Thameslink and Great Northern will stay the same.

Our plans

We're investing heavily in the infrastructure and technology on our lines, so we can give our passengers a better service.

As a family of train companies, we’ll be delivering more trains, more seats and capacity, more services, more routes, more station improvements, more platforms with Wi-Fi and more information.

Above all, we want to give our customers and our people more say - to help us create a better rail service for everyone.
