Planned works this bank holiday weekend

Engineering work may affect your journey this bank holiday weekend, please check with National Rail before travel.

Information on planned work affecting Southern train services can be found here, in addition to the information shown, work will also affect train services;

On Sunday 28th between Polegate and Bexhill via Eastbourne before approximately 08:00 and after 23:00

On Sunday 28th between London Bridge and Streatham via Peckham Rye and Tulse Hill until approximately 09:00, and

Southern train services will be operating to a revised Saturday timetable this Bank Holiday Monday, 29th May.


RMT strike action has been suspended on 30 May

The RMT union have announced that they have suspended the 24 hours of strike action scheduled for Tuesday 30th May.

However, ASLEF have instructed their driver members not to work overtime from 00:01 on 4th June.

If this action goes ahead we will run as full a timetable as possible and we are working around the clock to evaluate the impact and develop our contingency plans. We will publish information here as it becomes available.

 
 

 

Important changes to overnight Southern services

To allow Network Rail to undertake essential maintenance and upgrade work to give passengers more reliable journeys, there will be changes to overnight Southern services from Sunday 21 May.
