Temperatures today are expected to reach 29 degrees in some areas
We know that as summer temperatures rise, travelling can feel hot and uncomfortable, especially during peak times.
If you’re not feeling yourself here are some tips to keep comfortable in the hot weather:
- If you feel unwell on the platform, don’t board the train. Seek help from station staff.
- If you feel unwell on board the train, get off at the next stop and seek help from station staff.
- Avoid pulling the passenger alarm between stations - help can be more easily obtained when the train is at a platform.
- Stay hydrated. Carry a bottle of water with you when you’re travelling.
