Signalling problem betweem Brighton and Hove

Delays and short notice alterations expected at Hove due to a fault with signal equipment.
We have limited platform access and therefore customers are advised to check before they travel as last minute platform alterations are expected. Engineers have been advised and will be attending and providing us with updates shortly.

Compensation announcement

Southern has introduced a more generous Delay Repay scheme, from 11 December 2016, which offers passengers compensation for journeys delayed over 15 minutes rather than 30 minutes.

We have also introduced a new compensation scheme for season ticket holders.
