A Train fault between Redhill and Tonbridge

A fault on a train between Nutfield and Godstone has damaged the electric third rail, Southern services between Redhill and Tonbridge will be subject to delay and cancellation.

Southeastern will accept tickets from Tonbridge over any reasonable route.

Buses have been arranged and are in operation between Redhill and Tonbridge, however due to the number of buses available to us passengers may experience a delay in awaiting the replacement bus.


Signalling fault in the Streatham area

signalling fault in the Streatham area, Network Rail have requested we amend some services from London Bridge towards West Croydon this morning.

Southern services from London Bridge towards West Croydon which operate via Peckham Rye and Selhurst will not call at stations between Tulse Hill and West Croydon.

Southern services from West Croydon towards London Bridge are currently unaffected.

London Buses will accept Southern Rail tickets on any reasonable route between London Bridge and Croydon.

Thameslink are running a reduced service southbound via Wimbledon and northbound via Mitcham Junction.

Compensation announcement

Southern has introduced a more generous Delay Repay scheme, from 11 December 2016, which offers passengers compensation for journeys delayed over 15 minutes rather than 30 minutes.

We have also introduced a new compensation scheme for season ticket holders.
