Signalling problem between Victoria and Balham 

A signalling problem at Wandsworth Common is causing disruption to journeys between London Victoria and Balham. Trains may be delayed by up to 25 minutes or cancelled. Some stations between London Victoria and Balham will not be served. South West Trains, Thameslink, London Underground and London Buses are accepting Southern tickets. 


RMT Union announces 2 days of strike action by conductors

We have been informed that conductors in the RMT Union plan to strike on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th September.  We will provide more information once it is available.

Temperatures today are expected to reach 30 degrees in some areas

We know that as summer temperatures rise, travelling can feel hot and uncomfortable, especially during peak times.

If you’re not feeling yourself here are some tips to keep comfortable in the hot weather:

  • If you feel unwell on the platform, don’t board the train. Seek help from station staff.
  • If you feel unwell on board the train, get off at the next stop and seek help from station staff.
  • Avoid pulling the passenger alarm between stations - help can be more easily obtained when the train is at a platform.
  • Stay hydrated. Carry a bottle of water with you when you’re travelling.

Revised timetable on Mondays to Fridays until further notice


In order to give you more certainty for your journey and enable you to better plan, we have implemented an amended timetable on Mondays to Fridays that we will be able to operate more reliably.

You will be able to claim compensation against trains cancelled in advance or against delays experienced on the day. For full timetables and to claim compensation, visit our revised timetable page.
