Reduced service on Saturday 30th July 2016 due to limited train crew availability

On Saturday 30th July a reduced service will operate on some Coastway West and Coastway East routes.

Brighton and Lewes shuttle services will be cancelled all day.  Shuttle services between Brighton and Seaford will be formed of more coaches than usual.

Brighton and West Worthing shuttle services will be cancelled all day.  Other Southern services will call additionally at Aldrington, Fishersgate and East Worthing.

Please check before you travel.

Planned engineering work between London Bridge and Norwood Junction

Trains between London Bridge and Horsham are operating between London Victoria and Horsham. Trains between London Bridge and London Victoria are operating between Crystal Palace and London Victoria. Trains between London Bridge and Uckfield are operating between Oxted and Uckfield. Trains between London Bridge and Tattenham Corner are diverted via Tulse Hill and Crystal Palace. Trains between London Bridge and Caterham and between London Bridge and Beckenham Junction are not operating.

Qatar Goodwood Festival

The Qatar Goodwood Festival takes place this week and weekend. Train services to and from Chichester will be busier than usual. Please see Goodwood website for more info on the Qatar Goodwood Festival. 

Revised timetable on Mondays to Fridays until further notice

In order to give you more certainty for your journey and enable you to better plan, we have implemented an amended timetable on Mondays to Fridays that we will be able to operate more reliably.

You will be able to claim compensation against trains cancelled in advance or against delays experienced on the day. For full timetables and to claim compensation, visit our revised timetable page.

RMT Union announces five days of strike action by conductors

We have been informed that conductors in the RMT Union plan to take strike action between 8-12 August.
