Major engineering work this weekend
Services to and from London Victoria will be subject to major alteration on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September. Many journeys will be diverted to/from London Blackfriars and London Bridge. Southern tickets will be accepted on Tube services between London Bridge, London Blackfriars and London Victoria. Please use our journey planner (Check times and buy tickets) to plan your journey. You should allow extra time for your journey.

Revised timetable on Mondays to Fridays until further notice
An amended timetable continues to operate on some routes on Mondays to Fridays. We are doing everything possible to restore services as soon as possible. The full timetable will be restored between Seaford and Brighton on Monday 26 September. For more information on routes still operating a revised timetable, and on our compensation arrangements, please check our revised timetable page.

More RMT strikes announced
The RMT have announced that they plan industrial action on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 11 October until Thursday 13 October
  • Tuesday 18 October until Thursday 20 October
  • Thursday 3 November until Saturday 5 November
  • Tuesday 22 November until Wednesday 23 November
  • Tuesday 6 December until Thursday 8 December

If these strikes go ahead they will have a significant affect on our services. We are working on plans for the service we will operate and will advise you here as soon as we have more details on our RMT strike page.

Smartcard ticket collection
We are sorry that some customers are experiencing difficulty in collecting smartcard tickets from gatelines and validators at stations between Coulsdon South and Gatwick Airport, this problem follows a recent update to the software. We are working closely with TfL to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. In the meantime customers may collect their smartcard tickets from the readers on ticket machines. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
