This is a simple system to enable you to claim compensation if your journey is delayed by 30 minutes or more owing to a problem with Southern trains.
You can scan your season ticket once and apply online anytime a 30 minute or longer delay happens (which won’t be often as only two out of every thousand trains were half an hour or more late last year).
Alternatively you can download a claim form and claim by post enclosing a copy of your ticket.
You can request free email Journey Alerts so that any service disruption is reported to you in good time.
This means you can avoid down time for instance in the evening you might stay at the office a bit longer and get some work done until the problem is resolved.
Create your own timetable with MyTimes®
You can create a personalised timetable for up to 3 separate departure or arrival stations and can select the days, dates and travel times to suit you. You can also personalise the timetable further to show all or some intermediate stations or the services of particular Train Operating Companies. Its quick and easy to do and helps reduce waste by not picking up a booklet at the station.
You can buy your Season ticket online with Southern. We don’t charge booking fees or credit card fees and first class post is free. For monthly and longer seasons recorded delivery is free.
