East Grinstead has many historic buildings and is located in the Weald and Ashdown Forest lies to the south of the town. The High Street contains one of the longest continuous runs of 14th-century timber-framed buildings in England.

The museum tells the story of the historic market town in the High Weald and has exciting new displays, hands on experiences, inter-actives and audio/visual presentations. 12 minutes walk from East Grinstead station.
Deers Leap Mountain Bike Park
The Park has 240 acres of dedicated mountain bike tracks of every grade from family-friendly trails to single track and north shore in the woods. Deers leap are part of the region's largest outdoor activity supplier TrekCo, they can offer a range of activities and even offer bike hire. 40 minutes walk or 10 minutes by bus 84 outside East Grinstead station.
