Littlehampton is a coastal gem based on the UK’s south coast, which has great weather and can be fun for the whole family. The area has two beaches, a marina, a harbour and some spectacular architecture.
Places to visit:
Long Bench is the longest bench in Britain, its total structure measures 324 metres in length. It runs along the red brick wall between the town’s Harbour Park and East Beach cafe, giving more people the chance to enjoy the sea front. This isn't walkable from the station but just 30 minutes by taxi or number 700 bus outside Littlehampton station.
Look and Sea! Visitor Centre
A fun and interactive visitor centre, with a refreshed Heritage Exhibition focusing on the history of the river, harbour and seaside of Littlehampton. 10 minutes walk from Littlehampton station.
Harbour Adventure Park
Visit Littlehampton’s amusement park right near the sandy beaches, Harbour and Marina. With a variety of in-door and out-door rides and attractions, the Harbour Park is a great family fun day out. 15 minutes walk from Littlehampton station.
