What is Downlander?Downlander is an all-inclusive Off-Peak day travel ticket, giving great value travel across the South Downs. From only £10, travel to as many places in the South Downs in one day as you wish using train services provided by Southern and bus services from these companies: Brighton & Hove Buses, The Cuckmere Community Bus, Eastbourne Buses and East Sussex County Council ‘rider buses’. With Downlander tickets, discounts are also given to a number of great attractions. Downlander e-tickets are sold exclusively online and cannot be bought at stations. Downlander comes in two types; the South Coast Downlander and All Network Downlander, both giving different ranges of travel.
