Service Update

Reduced service on some Southern routes

Southern services continue to be severely affected by a high level of conductor and driver sickness. This is leading to a reduced service on a number of routes. A change of train en-route may be required for some journeys.

We will update live departure boards and the journey planner at nationalrail.co.uk with service amendments as soon as they are known.

Rail tickets are being accepted on bus services operated by Brighton and Hove buses between Shoreham and Brighton (Route 2) and between Brighton and Eastbourne via Seaford (Route 12) and on bus services operated by Metrobus between Redhill and Reigate, Southern only ticket holders may also travel with Great Western Railway on train services between Redhill and Reigate.
