Service Update

Uckfield Line service disruption

Train services between London Bridge and Uckfield via Oxted are subject to delay and possible alteration due to a fault with signal equipment in the Crowborough area.

Replacement bus services have been arranged and are operating as required between Oxted and Uckfield with some services continuing to Haywards Heath or Tunbridge Wells, we have however been advised that road routes in the area are very busy this morning so buses may also be delayed.

Ticket acceptance has been agreed for travel on southeastern train services between Tunbridge Wells and London and Brighton and Hove buses will accept rail ticket holders on buses over route 29 between Uckfield and Tunbridge Wells via Eridge.

Services are expected to be disrupted until approximately 14:00, for the latest information you can follow us on twitter @SouthernRailUK search for #Crowborough

Reduced service on some Southern routes

Southern train services continue to be severely affected by a high level of conductor and driver sickness. This is leading to a reduced service on a number of routes. A change of train en-route may be required for some journeys.

We will continue to update live departure boards and the journey planner at nationalrail.co.uk with service amendments as soon as they are known.

Rail tickets are being accepted on bus services operated by Brighton and Hove buses between Shoreham and Brighton (Route 2) and between Brighton and Eastbourne via Seaford (Route 12) and on bus services operated by Metrobus between Redhill and Reigate, Southern only ticket holders may also travel with Great Western Railway on train services between Redhill and Reigate.
