Coaching Southern

We have an internal coaching service to help our employees achieve their career aspirations within Southern. We also help employees to learn coaching techniques through a “Coaching Skills” module which helps understanding about coaching, how it works and why it is our preferred leadership style at Southern.

Passport to Learning (P2L)

Passport to Learning is a project which aims to open up new learning opportunities for our staff, their families and friends and to support them on their learning journey. It includes English, Maths, I.T., French, Art classes or even learning a musical instrument.

Vocational skills

Southern have a team of learning and development specialists who are experts in the frontline operation of running a railway. Our vocational skills training team is responsible for delivering core staff training for a range of roles within the Service Delivery Directorate.
