Lewes Bonfire Night

Date: 29 Oct 2010

Lewes Bonfire night takes place next Friday, 5 November, and as usual the event is likely to be very popular. To make sure that you can travel to and from the event safely, we will be making some changes to the way we run our stations and services on the night.

As with previous years there will be a queuing system in place at Brighton station from 15:00 onwards for trains to Lewes.

Queuing systems will also be in place at Falmer, London Road and Moulsecoomb stations, where you will be able to board the front two coaches to Lewes.

For return journeys, there will be a queuing system in place at Lewes station so please be advised to expect queues and busy services. In addition, bikes will not be allowed on any Southern service on the East Coast way between Brighton and Ashford International after 16:00.
