Southern has announced its train service provision for the Easter holiday.
As with previous years, Good Friday and Easter Monday will operate to a Saturday timetable. Service provision for the weekend is as follows:
Thursday 21 April a normal weekday service will run
Friday 22 April (Good Friday) a Saturday level of service will run
Saturday 23 April a normal Saturday service will run
Sunday 24 April (Easter Sunday) a normal Sunday service will run
Monday 25 April (Easter Monday) a Saturday level of service will run
Tuesday 26 April a normal weekday service will run
Network Rail will be carrying out a small amount of maintenance and improvement work on the Southern network during the Easter weekend:
From Friday 22 to Monday 25 April, works take place in the Southampton area. Southern will operate to Fareham where replacement buses will be available to Southampton.
From Saturday 23 to Monday 25 April, works take place between Epsom and Dorking. Buses will replace trains between Sutton and Dorking.
West London Line
Saturday 23 (from 20.00) to Mon 25 April (until 12.00), West London Line services will not operate north of Shepherds Bush. Customers are advised to use London Underground services between Victoria and Euston, and London Midland services between Euston and Watford Junction / Milton Keynes. Southern tickets will be accepted on the Victoria Line between Victoria and Euston for this period.
