Paying by cheque at a ticket office
Personal cheques can no longer be accepted for payment at ticket offices.
For the purchase of Annual Season tickets company cheques can still be accepted, but you must be able to produce two forms of identification to verify your name and address. One of these must bear a photo, such as a driving licence or passport. The other document must verify your address, such as a recent utility bill. Both must be original documents.
Note about company cheques: A company cheque is considered to be one received from a PLC, limited company, partnership, registered charity, school or local authority. A cheque from an individual where the cheque states “trading as...” can not be accepted.
