Up to four children may travel Off-Peak for only £1 each when accompanied by an adult with any valid ticket (including season tickets).
Kids for £1 tickets can only be bought from the station. So to save the most money why not buy your adult tickets online and then buy your children’s £1 tickets from the station on the day you are travelling.
Off-peak means during the times when an off-peak ticket would be valid for the journey on the ticket
Example of use:
- You have an annual season ticket from Brighton to London Victoria
- It’s your day off and you want to take your four kids to London to see Buckingham Palace
- Off peak day returns from Brighton to London are valid on all trains from 09:19
- You can return on any train
As long as you can travel off peak your children can travel for £1 each.
These tickets can only be purchased at a station.
The adult ticket must be produced at the time of booking.
Children travelling on their own must pay the normal child fare (50% of the adult fare).
