Ticket types - Kids for a £1

When accompanied by an adult with any valid ticket up to four children may travel off-peak for only £1 each!

Off-peak means during the times when an off-peak ticket would be valid for the journey on the ticket

Example of use:

  • You have an annual season ticket from Brighton to London Victoria
  • It’s your day off and you want to take your four kids to London to see Buckingham Palace
  • Off peak day returns from Brighton to London are valid on all trains after the 09:19
  • You can return on any train

As long as you can travel off peak your children can travel for £1 each.

These tickets can only be purchased at a station.

The adult ticket must be produced at the time of booking.

Children travelling on their own must pay the normal child fare (50% of the adult fare).
