Ask for PLUSBUS when buying your train ticket at:
Remember that one rail station of your train journey must be located outside the relevant PLUSBUS travel zone.
Pay with cash, credit or debit card. You'll be issued with tickets for all your train & bus travel.
Your PLUSBUS ticket will have '+BUS' printed after the name of your origin or destination station e.g. BRIGHTON+BUS. Simply show this ticket to the driver as you get on the bus.
For bus travel at the start of your journey, buy your PLUSBUS ticket in advance from a station, by phone or online (and have it posted to you).
With PLUSBUS it's easy to know where you can go. There's just one zone covering the urban area. You can travel as much as you like on participating buses within this zone.
To view zone maps, go to towns, fares & maps.
PLUSBUS is cheaper and more convenient than buying a separate bus season ticket from the local bus company. PLUSBUS is usually valid on most bus operators in each town (not just the largest one).
Already got your rail season ticket? You can still buy a PLUSBUS ticket. Take your rail season ticket to a ticket office and ask for a PLUSBUS ticket for 7-days, a month or 3-months up to the expiry date of your rail season ticket.
