First class travel
When planning your journey, why not switch from your usual standard class ticket to First class?
Southern offer First class train tickets on the majority of our routes. If you choose to work on the train, there are power points close by on some of our services.
When catering facilities are available, First Class passengers are entitled to a complimentary tea, fair-trade coffee or small mineral water.
These seat are not just for season tickets, they can also be bought for the majority of daily tickets and Travelcards too.

First Class Advance train fares
New First Class Advance fares were introduced on the Brighton to London Victoria route from 2nd January 2010. There is one level of First Class Advance fares, which is priced at £12.50.
