British Heart Foundation London to Brighton bike ride

Cycle events

As most cycle rides take place on the weekend, it is the off peak period and therefore (as per our cycle policy) there are no restrictions to carrying regular (non-folding) cycles on our services. However, as services are likely to be busy we may have to implement a queuing system at affected stations, so participants are advised to allow extra time for their journey home.

British Heart Foundation London to Brighton bike ride

British Heart Foundation will once again host the London to Brighton Bike ride on Sunday 18 June raising money in the fight to end heart disease.

Thameslink, Southern and Gatwick Express services on the weekend of this BHF London to Brighton bike ride will have some cycle restrictions in place for the comfort and safety of everyone travelling.

Monday 19 June 2017

If intending to travel on train services from Brighton with your bike, you may experience delays as services can only hold a limited number of cycles. A queuing system will be in place at times of high demand on both days.

Our normal peak hours restrictions will be in place on Monday 19 June.
