Industrial action announced affecting Southern and Gatwick Express from Thursday 29 June onwards

The ASLEF union have announced their train driver members working for Southern and Gatwick Express will be introducing an overtime ban. This will begin at 00:01 on Thursday 29 June and will continue until further notice. Thameslink services will be unaffected.

In addition to the above, the RMT union have announced a new 24 hour strike between 00:01 and 23:59 on Monday 10 July. Information on how this may affect your journey will be published here as soon as it becomes available.

Upcoming works

Buses replace trains between Streatham / West Croydon and Sutton on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June

Engineering work is taking place between Streatham / West Croydon and Sutton, closing all lines.

Buses will replace trains between West Croydon and Sutton and also between Streatham and Epsom (buses will run via both Mitcham Junction and Streatham Common).

Trains that usually run between London Bridge and West Croydon via Streatham Common will be amended to run between London Bridge and East Croydon.

An amended service will run between Epsom and Horsham / Dorking.

Ticket acceptance:

You may use South West Trains services between Epsom and Dorking.
