Service alterations

Disruption between Purley and Redhill expected until 05:00

Due to a fault with the signalling system between Purley and Redhill trains have to run at reduced speed on the southbound line.

Impact:
Train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes. Disruption is expected until 05:00 25/02.

Customer Advice:
Network Rail, who own and maintain the signalling and track, are attending the reported signalling fault and will be providing updates to us. Network Rail engineers are on site and will be carrying repair work overnight. We will then provide further information about the problem.

Buses replace trains between Eastbourne and Hastings on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February

Network Rail are carrying out engineering work between Pevensey Bay and St Leonards Warrior Square, closing all lines.

Customer Advice:

On Saturday, buses will replace trains between Eastbourne and Hastings.

On Sunday, buses are extended to run from / to Polegate.

Bicycles:

Non folding bicycles are not allowed on rail replacement bus services at any time. Folding bicycles are allowed if fully folded. For more information, please see here.

No trains between Streatham and Sutton or Wimbledon via Mitcham Junction on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February

Network Rail are carrying out engineering work between Streatham and Wimbledon, closing the line via Mitcham Junction.

Customer Advice:

Southern trains are replaced by buses between Streatham and Epsom / Epsom Downs. An hourly shuttle service will operate between Epsom and Horsham.

Thameslink will run 2 trains per hour will operate to / from Wimbledon via Tooting. Customers should use Southern replacement buses between Streatham and Sutton and local TfL buses between Sutton and Wimbledon.

Ticket acceptance:

Southern customers may use South West Trains services between Epsom and Dorking.
