For live service information and real time updates you may want to join many of our customers who are already following us on @SouthernRailUK. The account is monitored 24/7 and is fully operational; with the exception of Christmas Day.
We predominantly provide service updates from our Control team providing information about issues that may be affecting performance across our network. In addition, we provide an hourly overview of the service across the network increasing to half-hourly during the peak period. We will provide advice and guidance during disruption which will be catalogued via a # for the area in which the disruption is occurring ( e.g: #Horsham)
We will aim to answer your queries as quickly as possible on a range of issues from train running information to customer service issues as well as journey planning and fare information.
