How does TrainTracker™ work?

TrainTracker™ uses speech recognition which lets you say what you want.

TrainTracker™ then looks up the estimated train times from our Live Departure and Arrivals Boards and speaks this information to you.

TrainTracker™ can also be accessed on station-specific numbers. So if you regularly travel to or from the same station, look on our hints and tips page to see if your station has a station-specific number.

TrainTracker™ - Hints and tips

How does TrainTracker™ adapt to me?

TrainTracker™ remembers your previous requests. When you use a mobile phone, TrainTracker™ will try to match your previous requests to the time that you call and may offer you a specific journey.

This adaptation includes repeats of the most recently requested information, return trains for journeys today and regular requested journeys. This may be based on frequency of calling, time of day and other aspects of your call profile. Unfortunately, you cannot set favourites. Use of the service by mobile indicates acceptance of the adaptation features.
