Christmas wreath-making workshops in Brighton

Why buy a festive wreath for your home when you could make your own? Between Two Thorns in Brighton will be running several workshops on creating a Christmas wreath from scratch. You’ll start by learning the basics of wreath making and then the fun will begin, as you adorn your own design with cinnamon sticks, pinecones and other festive pieces.

The workshops are available to book between 26th November and 17th December 2022.

Brighton Christmas Lights

The moment when a town’s Christmas lights are turned on is when it truly begins to feel festive, and the Brighton Christmas lights are no exception. Wrap up warm and gather your friends and family to experience the joy and excitement of the occasion.

Along with illuminating the city, last year’s event involved performances and a raffle, the proceeds of which were donated to Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice. The date the lights will be switched on hasn’t been revealed yet, but keep your eyes peeled because you won’t want to miss it!

A magnificent piece of Brighton’s heritage, the Royal Pavilion is a sight to behold – even more so at Christmas time. Admire the sparkling art deco design, enjoy the beautiful music and explore countless Georgian desserts in the spectacular banqueting room.

Make your way through the illuminated garden and you’ll find the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink, decked with reflections of twinkling lights and Christmas trees. An onsite shop offers merchandise for the occasion and there’s a rink-side bar and café where you can grab a mulled wine or a bite to eat to stay cosy.
