What we’re looking forward to in 2022

Eastbourne is a gorgeous seaside town bursting with life. Whether you like to spend your days basking in the sun on the seafront, strolling along the pier or exploring the unique shops – Eastbourne has so much to offer.

As well as the more traditional Eastbourne events, new ones are emerging every year. To help ensure you don't miss out when you visit Eastbourne, we've put together a list of things you might want to add to your diary for 2022.

Eastbourne’s Lightning Fibre Ice Rink

1st December, 2021 – 5th January, 2022

Get your skates on and visit Eastbourne’s most-loved winter event. The ice rink is placed right next to the train station in the town centre, so you don’t need to worry about getting there.

Enjoy 60 minutes of fun, laughs and ice skating courtesy of this iconic Eastbourne event.

If ice skating isn’t your thing but you still want to get involved in the festivities, there are Christmas stalls where you can sample mulled wine and other tasty treats.

MAMMA MIA!

From March 1st, 2022

Whether you’re a fan of musicals or adore the uplifting songs of ABBA, you’re sure to love this Eastbourne theatre event.

Smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! is coming to the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne next March. Get lost in the timeless classic ABBA hits and get blown away by the dazzling costumes. It could provide the perfect ending to a day out in Eastbourne.

Eastbourne – Sightseeing by Twilight

From April 1st, 2022

Sightseeing by Twilight is one of Eastbourne’s great seafront events. Take in the magnificent views of the Eastbourne coastline from a completely new perspective.

Take a seat on the open-top bus and enjoy the panoramic views of the iconic local landmarks. There will be plenty of opportunities to take some incredible photos of the beautiful scenery too.

Buses depart from Eastbourne Pier on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 6.30pm and 8pm, so get your tickets while you can!
