Thirsk is an accessible station only during the hours when staff are available. Access to the Ticket Office and all platforms is available during staffed hours only. Staff will assist customers to cross the line. Due to train movements through the station we cannot guarantee transfer between the car park and the platforms if you arrive less than 20 minutes before your train leaves. Assistance can be requested in advance by contacting TransPennine Express on 0800 107 2149 (18001 prefix for TextRelay). We can also provide help when you travel, even if it has not been booked in advance. You can turn up at this station if it is accessible to you and request assistance onto a train from a member of staff directly, or by using a help point. Outside of staffed station hours, assistance to board and alight the train can be provided by the Conductor if you do not need assistance to cross the overbridge. The conductor is usually positioned at the rear of the train.
