I'm really sorry that we’ve had to cancel some services on Southern today. Unfortunately, over the last few days there has been a rise in staff sickness across our business, which has put a significant strain on our ability to run train services as planned. While we will always try to find colleagues to cover services, it is not always possible, and we have to take the difficult decision to cancel services.
I really appreciate your understanding, especially towards those colleagues who are working hard to keep as many services running as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to your journey.
