My name is Wendy and I live in Burgess Hill.

I am a really sociable person and have lots of friends in the local area. I enjoy travelling around to see people and to visit different places. I am involved with a lot of organisations and am the treasurer of Speak Up in Burgess Hill, which supports people with disabilities.

I had an accident a number of years ago which left me with physical and learning difficulties. I usually travel in my wheelchair but as I still have some mobility I can use my crutches if necessary.

When I use the trains with my scooter, I book it up the with the service and I have to have the ramps to get on and off the trains and Southern are very good, because when I book it there’s always someone at the station to meet me. They are very good and I can’t fault Southern.
