Simply tap your Key Smartcard or scan your eTicket at the ticket gate, before boarding the train. If your station doesn't have ticket gates and you are using a Key Smartcard, please tap it on the validator at the station and if you're using an eTicket, please ensure you activate a day pass on your phone.

Q: Can I use a Railcard with a Flexi Season ticket?

People holding a valid 16-17 Saver or a Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount Card can get a 50% discount on a Flexi Season ticket.

Q: What happens if I don’t use all eight travel days within 28 days?

Any unused travel days will expire after the 28-day period and cannot be refunded.

Q: Are Flexi Season tickets refundable?

Refunds are calculated based on the difference between the price you paid and the price of an Anytime Day Return ticket for the same journey, minus an administration fee. Please view our refunds page .

No, Flexi Season tickets are non-transferable and must only be used by the named traveller.
