The dish is available from 12pm – 6pm every Sunday, so it’s worth checking out if you’re in Brighton and looking for a tasty lunch or a roast dinner. 

Meat eaters can choose from Sussex rump of beef, slow roast lamb shoulder, crispy pork belly or free range supreme of chicken. There’s also a vegan alternative of roasted vegetable, vegan mozzarella and gouda wellington that sounds delightful too!

The Coal Shed

A steak restaurant may not sound like the place to head for a Sunday roast, but if you’re in Brighton consider making an exception for The Coal Shed. Whether you’re catching up with a group of mates or enjoying a romantic dinner for two, the sharing Sunday roast is too good to turn down.

Cyan 

A stylish, contemporary restaurant located in The Grand Brighton Hotel, Cyan is known for serving an impressive Sunday roast. The dish is available every Sunday until 7pm, and with plenty of options to select from, you’re sure to find something you fancy. 

Choose from aged sirloin beef, chicken roasted in herbs, pork belly with apple puree or seabass with tiger prawns. Not a meat eater? No problem, Cyan’s famous nut roast has rave reviews!

The Dyke Alehouse & Kitchen

The Dyke Alehouse & Kitchen has quickly gained a reputation for serving one of the best Sunday roasts in Brighton, despite only opening its doors in 2019, just before the pandemic hit. This cosy traditional pub has a range of roast dinner options available, including both vegetarian and vegan options. 

Each plate is served with garlic and herb roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, buttered greens and cauliflower cheese, before being topped with their homemade gravy and, of course, a Yorkshire Pudding.  

The Watershed 

Situated on Brighton Marina is The Watershed, a bustling food and drink spot that doubles as a yacht club. A fantastic Sunday roast is offered and it’s available to order from midday until the last serving is plated up!  

Choose from chicken supreme with stuffing, striploin of beef with carrot puree or pork belly with apple puree. A vegan shallot, red onion and herb tart tatin is also available if you’d prefer a meat-free plate.
