Impact:
Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 16:00 30/05.
Customer Advice:
No Southern services can run between Lewes and Eastbourne due to an agricultural vehicle blocking a level crossing at Berwick.

We have been advised that an agricultural vehicle is blocking a level crossing at Berwick. Until this has moved no trains can run between Lewes and Eastbourne.

Industrial Action is taking place between Wednesday 31 May and Saturday 3 June.Show detailsHide details
Wednesday 31 May
NO Southern, Gatwick Express, Thameslink or Great Northern services will run.
Thursday 1 June
Knock-on disruption from the previous days' strike is expected, and we have also been notified of a ban on overtime by ASLEF. Services will start later in some locations, first trains are likely to be very busy and you may not be able to board. Throughout the rest of the day, to help customers plan with fewer short notice alterations, an amended timetable with fewer services will run.Friday 2 June
Services will be limited across the network, with a later start, an early shut down and no service in some locations.Saturday 3 June
NO Southern, Gatwick Express, Thameslink or Great Northern services will run.Due to a knock on effect, early morning services on Sunday 4 June will also start later than normal.

Engineering work is taking place at various locations between Haywards Heath and Hastings / Ashford International, closing lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Between around 23:59 and 05:30 each night, buses will replace trains between Lewes / Eastbourne and Hastings / Ashford International.

Engineering work is taking place between South Croydon and Oxted / Uckfield, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
The 23:07 London Bridge to Uckfield will terminate at Oxted. A replacement bus will run from Oxted to Uckfield.
The 23:53 London Victoria to Oxted train will terminate at East Croydon. A replacement bus will run from East Croydon to Oxted, calling at all stations.

Southern between Brighton and West Worthing / Portsmouth Harbour
Engineering work is taking place between Brighton and Angmering, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
After 23:30 each night, trains between London Victoria and Worthing will be diverted and run to / from Brighton. Replacement buses will run between Brighton and Worthing / West Worthing.
Additionally:
Monday to Thursday:
The 22:40 Portsmouth Harbour to Brighton service will depart Littlehampton earlier than usual at 23:35, and will run non-stop to Brighton. A replacement bus will run between Littlehampton and Brighton, calling at intermediate stations.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 00:04 Brighton to West Worthing service will not run and will be replaced by a bus.

Fratton: Lifts out of order
The lifts will be out of order between all platforms and the station entrance / exit from 00:01 on 22/05/2023 until 23:59 on 14/06/2023 at Fratton station.
Additional Information:
This affects all services at the station. Access to Platform 1 remains step-free from the main entrance. Passengers for Fratton are advised to travel via Portsmouth and Southsea and join returning services to Fratton from Portsmouth and Southsea. Please speak to station staff for further assistance. -
Hurst Green: Ticket Office Closure
At Hurst Green station, the following issues have been reported:

Sutton Surrey: Lifts out of order
The lifts will be out of order between the footbridge and Platforms 1, 2 & 3 from 12:06 on 27/05/2023 until further notice at Sutton Surrey station.

This affects Southern and Thameslink services towards London via Mitcham Junction, West Croydon and Wimbledon, and Epsom. Please speak to station staff for further assistance.
