Train Service Updates

See if there is any service disruption on the Southern network, check live departures and arrivals from any station or find out about any alternative routes during unplanned disruption.

The earlier fault with the signalling system at Tulse Hill has now been rectified, allowing all lines at this station to reopen.
Until service recovers, trains running through this station may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 10 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Trains are now able to run through Tulse Hill on all lines and staff are now working on getting trains and their crews back on time
You will not need to use an alternative route, but Southern trains which run between London Bridge and Caterham / Tattenham Corner and Thameslink services which run between Sutton and Luton/St Albans City could still be subject to delays of around 10 minutes.
Some Thameslink services will remain cancelled until around midday meaning you might have to change onto more than usual trains. Please consider this when planning your journey.

Engineering work is taking place between Selhurst and Purley via East Croydon, closing some lines.

All day, trains will run to an amended timetable.

Services usually running between London Victoria and East Grinstead will run between East Croydon and East Grinstead only.

Services usually calling at all stations between London Bridge and East Croydon via Peckham Rye, will run to a revised timetable between London Bridge and Caterham, diverted after Tulse Hill to run via Norwood Junction, and no longer calling at Streatham Common, Norbury, Thornton Heath or Selhurst.

Some trains will call additionally at Selhurst.

Direct trains between London Victoria and Reigate will not run. You can use alternative Southern or Thameslink trains between London St Pancras International / London Bridge / London Victoria and Purley at no extra cost to connect with trains between Redhill and Reigate.

Engineering work is taking place between Haywards Heath and Brighton, closing all lines.

Southern:

From 23:45 on Saturday until 07:00 on Sunday, trains that usually run between London Victoria and Brighton will be diverted to run between London Victoria and Redhill only.

Replacement buses will run between Redhill and Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges.

An amended train service will run between Gatwick Airport and Brighton.

Additionally, before 07:15 on Sunday, trains between Preston Park and Brighton will be diverted to run via Hove, extending journey times.

Thameslink:

From approximately 00:35 until approximately 08:15 on Sunday morning, no trains will run between Redhill and Brighton.

Additionally, from the start of Sunday service until approximately 06:50, a limited train service will run between Gatwick Airport and Haywards Heath.

Rail replacement buses (run by Southern) will run between Redhill and Gatwick Airport / Three Bridges, connecting with Southern services between Redhill and London. A few early morning buses will also run between Haywards Heath and Brighton. You can use these services at no extra cost.
